Manchester Crimeline has helped solve over 3500 cases since it's inception in 1981. While each of those cases are noteworthy, some are worth mentioning again. The success stories listed below are important because some have made national headlines, taken large amounts of drugs off the streets, or simply have a unique aspect to the crime.

HERE ARE JUST A FEW OF OUR SUCCESS STORIES

On June 7, 2007 a man walked into the Citizen's Bank on Elm St., approached the teller, and demanded money. The man was described as a white male, thin build, with tree branches duct taped to his body. The teller complied with the tree-branch robber's demands and he fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. Local news stations immediately began showing surviellance footage of the robbery. Within an hour of being broadcast on television, an anonymous tipster called Crimeline with the suspect's name and place of employment. Manchester Police Detectives were able to make a quick arrest with the help of the Crimeline caller's information. The Crimeline caller received a $500 reward for the information provided.

It should be noted that news stations from as far as Great Britian and Hawaii inquired about this unusual bank robbery.
