| 9/3/2010 - Crimeline Crime of the Week | This week`s CRIMELINE CRIME OF THE WEEK is a
WANTED SUBJECT
that was involved in criminal activity on Monday August 30, 2010.
On that day at approx.12:15 p.m. Manchester Police were called to the area of Wilson and Harvard Streets for report of a shooting incident. On arrival, police were able to determine that one of the suspects involved in the shooting was Jose Miranda of 221 Wilson St.
Jose Miranda is identified as a Hispanic male, 21 years old, with black hair, brown eyes and cornrows in his hair. He is 5’6 and 150 lbs.
He is currently wanted on two counts of felony reckless conduct. Miranda should be considered armed and dangerous.

| | 8/20/2010 - Crimeline Crime of the Week | This week`s CRIMELINE CRIME OF THE WEEK is a
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT & ASSAULT
that was reported to Manchester Police on Saturday August 14, 2010.
On that day at approx. 11:00 p.m Manchester Police responded to the intersection of Granite and Canal St. for a possible “car-jacking”. According to the victim, a male subject approached her car while she was stopped at the red light. The suspect opened the door and forcibly removed the woman from the vehicle. The suspect then got into the car as another male subject entered from the passenger side. Both suspects were seen heading west on Granite St.
Suspect One is described as a black or Hispanic male, bald, with a muscular build. He was wearing a bright colored hooded sweatshirt.
Suspect Two is a white male with a bandana and blue jeans.

| | 8/12/2010 - Crimeline Crime of the Week | This week`s CRIMELINE CRIME OF THE WEEK is a
ROBBERY
that was reported to Manchester Police on Tuesday August 10, 2010.
On that day at approx. 5 p.m. Manchester Police responded to Juba Market located at 135 Cedar St. for report of a robbery. On arrival officers found the store clerk and a witness coughing forcefully as a result of being pepper sprayed. According to the clerk, a male suspect entered the store, pepper sprayed him in the face, and demanded money. The clerk then picked up a chair and struck the suspect in the shoulder. The suspect fled the store without stealing anything.
The suspect is described as a white male, approx. 25 years old with short black hair. He is approx. 5-07 with a thin build. He was wearing a white shirt with tan shorts.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
that have occurred during the months of May and June 2010.
During that time numerous residential burglaries have occurred in the north-east area of Manchester. Most of the burglaries occurred during daytime hours in single family homes located between Bridge and Webster Streets up to the Smith Rd area.
Suspects are believed to be a group of three or four individuals, possibly between the ages of 18 and 25 years old. They approach the homes, ring the doorbell and when no one answers, they attempt to enter.
Residents should immediately notify police if anyone is seen knocking on doors or attempting to peer into first floor windows in their neighborhood.

This week`s CRIMELINE CRIME OF THE WEEK is
VANDALISM
that was reported to Manchester Police on March 24, 2010.
On that day it was discovered that someone had damaged the World War II Veterans Memorial in Veterans Park sometime over the previous weekend. According to the report, someone had forcibly removed 15 of the gold colored stars that were fastened to the granite panels. Although the stars were gold in color, they were actually made of brass. The removal of the stars caused extensive damage to the entire memorial, including the large pieces of granite they were affixed to. Repairs to the memorial are estimated to be thousands of dollars.
On May 18th 2010 the Manchester Board of Mayor and Aldermen voted to match the Crimeline reward for information that leads to the arrest of the individuals responsible for the vandalism to the Veterans Memorial

| | 5/20/2010 - Crimeline Crime of the Week | This week`s CRIMELINE CRIME OF THE WEEK is a
ROBBERY
that was reported to Manchester Police on Saturday May 8, 2010.
On that date at approx. 10:00 a.m. officers responded to Gaucho’s Restaurant located at 62 Lowell St. for report of a robbery. On arrival officers spoke with the owner who stated he had just been robbed. According to the victim, a male and female entered coffee shop while he was busy with another customer. The owner suddenly heard a loud crash, and observed the female suspect outside the store fleeing the scene. Video surveillance shows that the male subject had jumped the counter and stolen money from the safe. Please view the attached video for a complete description of the incident.
Suspect one is a white male with a tattoo on his neck. Suspect two is a white female with brown hair carrying a backpack.

| | 5/12/2010 - Crimeline Crime of the Week | This week`s CRIMELINE CRIME OF THE WEEK is several ARSONS
which have occurred between May 2nd and May 12th, 2010.
Between those dates three incidents of arson occurred on Myrtle Street in Manchester. The locations of the fires were 134, 120 and 52 Myrtle St. In each of these incidents Police and Fire Investigators determined that the fires were intentionally set in locations adjacent to the buildings. Two of these fires caused extensive building damage. In one of the cases damage was limited due to the fast actions of responding police personnel who removed a burning trash container before enveloping the building.
There are no suspects at this time.
